Crocheron & John Golden Park, together at 62 acres it is the 12th largest park in Queens, NYC. Since the summer of 2020, the park has been supported by Friends of Crocheron & John Golden Park. The group is founded by Jessica Burke and Christopher Petrizzo. They soon found heaps of support from local Friends to volunteer for events. The group works alongside NYC Parks to plan volunteer events and larger improvements in Our Park. Monthly volunteer events that focus on litter removal, planting, and trail maintenance. Other events help to publicize the park and bring local park goers together. Our volunteers and members also advocate for the park through conversations with NYC Parks and finding/securing funds to support the parkland. We are looking for help so that we can achieve our goals. Please reach out to find out more about how to support Crocheron!
